Robertsdale, AL – The DASH Foundation of Baldwin County proudly celebrated the official opening of its storefront at 22835 Highway 59 S, Suite D, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the foundation’s mission to provide financial assistance to local families battling cancer and other life-altering chronic illnesses.

Founded in 2020 by a dedicated team with a long history of organizing Relay for Life events, the DASH Foundation was created to help ease the financial burdens of families facing medical crises. The foundation’s name, “DASH,” represents the initials of its four founding members and embodies the organization’s goal—to be a small yet meaningful source of support in the lives of those in need.

“A serious diagnosis can be overwhelming, and our goal is to provide support so families can focus on healing,” said Renee Hawsey, President of the DASH Foundation.

The foundation relies on community donations and partnerships to continue its mission. To learn more, donate, or get involved, visit dashfoundationofbc.com or follow the DASH Foundation of Baldwin County on Facebook.
