ROBERTSDALE, AL – The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Meeting in January at the Baldwin County Coliseum, celebrating local economic growth and recognizing the contributions of businesses and community leaders.

Charlesne McCurdy has been named the 2025 Chairwoman. In her address, McCurdy expressed excitement about steering the Chamber into its 50th year of progress and collaboration. Outgoing Chairman Lloyd Wing ceremoniously passed the gavel to McCurdy, stating, “At this time, my part is complete. I certainly enjoyed this past year as chairman of the Central Baldwin Chamber. It’s been quite an honor and quite a privilege.”

The event featured several awards to honor those making a significant impact in the Central Baldwin area:

  • Special Awards:

    • Generations Award: Dugger’s Pump & Well Repair of Robertsdale
    • Small Business of the Year: Campbell Hardware & Sporting Goods
    • Large Business of the Year: Baldwin Health
    • Chamber Volunteer of the Year: Jenny Buck
    • Community Impact Award: Baldwin EMC
    • Fell, Gilbert, Mack, Pearson Founders Award: Jeff Kelley

The Chamber also recognized outgoing board members for their service over the past three years, including Johnny Little (Riviera Utilities), Cindy Brown (Baldwin Farms Apartments), Hayden Kaechele (ScoutSouth Properties), and Kat McCaghren (Infirmary Health).
